We are proud to share that in April 2022, the RC Sofia Triaditsa conducted its Amblyopia screening campaign in the Lozenetz district of the Sofia Municipality.
By diagnosing amblyopia, we give children the opportunity for treatment at a very early age, which is not possible at a later stage of development. In the case of unaddressed amblyopia, the brain uses only the image from one eye and stereoscopic vision does not develop. This would greatly limit the realization of these children in certain professions.
The children’s vision prevention project in April was carried out in 8 kindergartens in the Lozenetz district. With the help of our friends at Lozenetz University Hospital, over 1000 children underwent preventive eye exams.
